Job Summary/Purpose
Support the tax department by participating in the day to day activities of the group. Assignments will be made for specific tasks based on the needs of the department.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
Supporting the assigned accounting department with day to day tasks
Research, planning and modeling
Prepare documents, spreadsheets, presentations, interoffice correspondence and copies
This position requires attention to detail and follow through
Must have the ability to handle multiple assignments and work within deadlines
Must have the ability to be proactive in forwarding work issues to the appropriate managers/supervisors
Must be able to work in a team
Minimum education required of the position:
GPA of 3.0 or higher
Must be currently pursing undergrad or masters degree in accounting, finance or business related field.
Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position:
General business, accounting and tax knowledge
Self:starter with strong analytical and communication skills
Must be proficient in MS office tools : Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent organizational skills
Strong and positive team attitude and interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritize work and to handle multiple tasks
Ability to understand scope and objective of each assignment
Minimum experience required of the position:
